This year’s theme is: Transforming Knowledge to Practice through Implementation Science
The majority of evidence-based practice efforts have focused on producing and disseminating the best available evidence and identifying programs with empirical support. This is clearly a good thing; however, more guidance is needed about how to promote effective and efficient implementation of empirically supported programs.
To help address this essential element of evidence-based practice, the focus of this year’s conference will be Transforming Knowledge to Practice through Implementation Science. Karen Blasé and Ronnie Detrich, who are experts in implementation science, will serve as keynote speakers and this year’s conference will feature a special track on reading practices.
