Co-Teaching – A 3 -Part Series
8:30-9:40 Co-Teaching Part 1–Essential components of Co-Teaching. This session will focus on the definition of co-teaching, the rationale for co-teaching and the prerequisite skills needed for a successful co-teaching team.
9:50-11:05 Co-Teaching Part 2– Co-Teaching Lessons and Planning. This session will focus on the six types of co-teaching lessons and the lesson planning tips.
11:15- 12:30 Co-teaching Part 3–Putting it all together This session will focus on the importance of Administration support, co-teaching logistics (scheduling, master schedules,) and grading and assessment.
Discoveries from an App-oholic
This fun, hands-on (BYOD) workshop, will allow you to discover new apps that can be used to cultivate learning. You will have a little fun playing with apps and discover some apps that can facilitate and motivate even the most reluctant student writers.
Teacher tools from an App-oholic
In Part 2 of this workshop you will learn how to use the built in assistive technology that is preinstalled into the iPad and discover apps that may help you as a teacher/assistant/parent. If time allows, we will have an app smack down at the end of class, and share with others your favorite app!
