Effective school teams and committees require a Team Charter to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Review the critical features below and get your free Team Charter template.A Team Charter list all the team members and outlines the structure for the team. By identifying the structure of the team and how it will operate and make decision right from the beginning, the team can focus on their purpose and goals and reduce potential interpersonal conflict.

  1. Identify team members and their team role & responsibility.

  3. Decide on the decision making process (majority rules, consensus, etc.).
  4. List the team norms and expectations for all members.
  5. Schedule all meeting dates, times, and location until the end of the school year.
